PENGEMBANGAN KAMPUNG PINTAR BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS DI DESA PUNGGUL KECAMATAN GEDANGAN – SIDOARJO

Abstract

Punggul Village is a village in the Gedangan District, Sidoarjo City, East Java Province. This
village is bordered by Ketajen and Wedi Villages in the north, Gemuruh Village in the east, Rebel Village
and Kragan Village in the south and Seruni Village in the west. Punggul Village has many UMKM, most
of which produce bags, shoes and hats but do not yet have an online-based marketing strategy to increase
sales. BUMDES Punggul Village also does not have any monitoring equipment to prevent crimes from
occurring. Based on the results of observations at the initial survey stage, there are several things that
need to be developed, namely getting business actors / UMKM to start marketing their products in the
online market so that the products can develop and can advance the economy in Punggul Village.
BUMDES Punggul Village as a public place and as a meeting place for sellers and buyers, CCTV will be
installed as an effort to prevent crime. So that the goal was achieved to create or compare the location of
Punggul Village to become an IoT-based smart village.
