PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MANDIRI BERKELANJUTAN DI DESA KALI TENGAH MENUJU DESA SAGATA (SADAR, SIAGA DAN TANGGUH) DALAM PENANGANAN LINGKUNGAN

Abstract

Kalitengah Village is one of the villages located in the lowlands, geographically this village is a very beautiful small village, not in the middle of Tanggulangin District. The residents of Kalitengah Village are very hospitable. Regarding the waste problem in Kalitengah Village, some of them still lack awareness in processing household waste. Most of them do not realize the importance of managing household waste to make the village cleaner and healthier. In addition, in the Kalitengah Village area there is still a reservoir next to the Lapindo Mud embankment and it happens to be frequented by people to fill their spare time by fishing, there are not many trees for shelter and the terrace is arid. So it can be said that the people in the Kalitengah Village area are still not optimizing better waste management and are less concerned with the environment. Therefore, there is a need for public awareness of how residents love the environment so that it becomes a clean, beautiful and healthy village.
