PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DALAM MEMPERINDAH BANTARAN SUNGAI DENGAN TANAMAN HIDROPONIK

Abstract

The implementation of the 022 Thematic Real Work Lecture in Jambangan Village is expected to give the public an awareness of the importance of ecological cultivation, which can be laid out and sown with various plants by modern cultivation of hydroponics. Community service in Jambangan Village, was motivated by the presence of the Covid-19 pandemic condition which is currently endemic. One of the activities in community service is community empowerment or community development through hydroponic training. Empowerment aims to increase knowledge, attitudes and skills and increase community participation and welfare. The reason behind community development through hydroponic training is that people need vegetables every day for consumption. So far, people buy these vegetables from markets or the other sellers, but during the Covid-19 pandemic, of course, many people feel alert to buy anything outside the home. If people grow their own vegetables, people don't need to worry because the quality of the vegetables is guaranteed and they can also save money. In addition, people can also take advantage of their free time at home to carry out useful activities such as cultivating plants and making use of their yards as a source of food and a source of family income if they are observant in seeing opportunities.In this Community Service Program, the construction of  hydroponic plants, to provide dumpsites in landings house, posters on warning signs of the covid-19 virus, to provide hand sanitizer in some places, slogans and prohibitions of disposal and natural destruction.
