PENGEMBANGAN POTENSI DESA DALAM PENANAMAN MENGGUNAKAN POT VERTI DIKELURAHAN KENDANGSARI SURABAYA

Abstract

The implementation of the 004 Group Thematic Real Work Lecture in Kendangsari Village is expected to be able to provide awareness to the public about the importance of food crop cultivation to the surrounding environment. Community service in Kendangsari Village is motivated by the existence of population growth conditions in the middle of the city that are less than optimal in developing plant cultivation. the community service activity is community empowerment through vertical plant training using vertical pot media. Empowerment aims to increase knowledge, attitudes, and skills as well as increase community participation and welfare. The reason behind empowering the community through planting training using verti pot media is that people need vegetables to be consumed every day. So far, people have bought these vegetables from the market or mobile vendors. Through the 004 Bhayangkara University Surabaya Real Work Lecture program which was held in Kendangsari, Tenggilis Mejoyo, Surabaya with the theme "Developing Village Potential in Planting Using Verti Pots in Kendangsari Village, Surabaya". To achieve this, KKN Group 004 conducted socialization, training and assistance to residents of Kendangsari village. After these efforts, residents can do their own cultivation and are able to utilize the results of their cultivation into a healthy product and have a selling value
