PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT DESA DAN PELESTARIAN LINGKUNGAN BERBASIS KAMTIBMAS DI DUSUN NONO DESA KEMIRI KECAMATAN PACET

Abstract

The lack of public participation on the economic empowerment and environmental distribution in Dusun Nono, Desa Kemiri, Mojokerto is an important issue in Community Services Program (KKN) organized by the KKN 018 Student group of Bhayangkara University Surabaya. Based on the analysis of the problem, the work program focuses on the following; 1) making street lights 2) making hand washing stations, 3) renovating huts, 4) socializing effective marketing strategies for MSMEs. Data collection techniques in this service use observation and interview techniques. The impact of this service program shows that, to increase community participation in the economic empowerment of Nono Hamlet, Kemiri Village will not run optimally if it is not supported by the Village government or local government. The weak support of the local government is one of the factors causing the low awareness of the community in economic empowerment and environmental preservation of their villages. The results of the survey on the community's perception of environmental conservation in Nono Hamlet, Kemiri Village, showed a positive response, judging from the cohesiveness and cooperation of residents in helping Group 018 in making hand washing stations, making street lights and renovating huts so that they were carried out within five days.
