Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is an intra-curricular activity that combines the implementation of the Tri
Dharma of Higher Education with the method of providing learning and work experience to students in community
empowerment activities. In this activity journal, KKN activities are carried out in Seduri village, Balongbendo
District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java with the theme Community Assistance in Using Digital Literacy in
Education to Increase Profits among MSME Actors. The purpose of this study was to find out the role of the Field
Work Lecture and also as a Community Service journal on the results of the work programs that have been carried
out by our group. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, and documentation. This interview
method aims to gather information about MSME activities that are being carried out by the Seduri village
community, and from the results of the study it was found that the role of KKN as part of developing student
competencies, especially social competencies and personality competencies, was very clearly found in the
community service locations
