MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIFITAS LAHAN DI DESA SEDATI GEDEDENGAN MEDIA HIDROPONIK DAN BIOFLOK

Abstract

Scientific articles are made based on the implementation of Thematic Real Work Lectures which are intended as a form of student service to the community. This Thematic Real Work Lecture is located in Sedati Gede Village, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency. This activity aims to provide assistance to the community regarding increasing the effectiveness of existing land in Sedati Gede Village with Hydroponic media and catfish cultivation using the Biofloc method. Hydroponic growing media is a method of cultivating plants by utilizing water without using soil media with an emphasis on meeting the nutritional needs of plants. The need for water in hydroponics is less than the need for water in cultivation with soil. While the Biofloc cultivation system is one of the fish farming technologies, namely a cultivation technique through environmental engineering that relies on oxygen supply and utilization of microorganisms which can directly increase the digestibility value of feed.
