Abstract

Planning for this parking building uses the main steel structure and steel roof structure. The building has 3 floors that function as two-wheeled parking. This building is an educational facility building so the earthquake is planned to be included in risk category IV. Based on earthquake calculations, the building is included in the Seismic Design Category (KDS) C. Therefore, this building is planned using the Intermediate Moment Resisting Frame System (SRPMM) method. The loads accommodated in this plan are dead loads, live loads, wind loads and earthquake loads according to SNI 1727-2013. The earthquake load is calculated using the Spectrum Response according to SNI 1726-2012. To simplify calculations, buildings are modeled using SAP 2000. Meanwhile, steel calculations refer to SNI 2847-2013. From this planning, it is expected that the building will be able to withstand the loads that occur. The results of the calculations obtained for the superstructure such as beam dimensions, column dimensions, and floor plate thickness and stair plates are shown in this article. The results of the analysis are then poured into technical drawings
