KKN TEMATIK PEMBERDAYAAN KAMPUNG UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN KAMTIBMAS DI KELURAHAN WARU GUNUNG, KECAMATAN KARANG PILANG, KOTA SURABAYA

Abstract

Real work Lecture (KKN) is an intracurricular course organised by academics in all universities that must be attended by all students with the aim of improving students' abilities and insights as a provision for life in the community after graduating. Thematic KKN conducted outside the campus has the intention of increasing the relevance of higher education to the development and needs of the community for education, and environmental preservation. This Thematic KKN is a programme held annually by Bhayangka ra Surabaya University, which is carried out in RW 01 Waru Gunung Village, Karang Pilang District, Surabaya City with the KKN theme "Village Empowerment to Improve the Welfare of KAMTIBMAS in Waru Gunung Village, Karang Pilang District, Surabaya City". In this Thematic KKN activity in 2023, UBHARA students are divided into several groups whose KKN implementation is spread across several regions in East Java. Our work program included socialisation about saving electricity, socialisation about KAMTIBMAS, installation of safety mirrors at several points in RW 01, providing facilities in the form of trash bins to get residents used to disposing of garbage, giving house number stickers, installing street placards, cleaning musholla and providing plants at the RW 01 hall.
