Thematic KKN conducted outside the campus has the intention of increasing the relevance of higher education to the development and needs of the community for education, and environmental preservation. This Thematic KKN is a programme held annually by Bhayangka ra Surabaya University, which is carried out in RW 01 Waru Gunung Village, Karang Pilang District, Surabaya City with the KKN theme "Village Empowerment to Improve the Welfare of KAMTIBMAS in Waru Gunung Village, Karang Pilang District, Surabaya City". In this Thematic KKN activity in 2023, UBHARA students are divided into several groups whose KKN implementation is spread across several regions in East Java. Based on the results of surveys and observations that we have carried out, it turns out that there are still people who do not understand the main tasks and functions of public security and order. With this we are disseminating information through socialization of Kamtibmas delivered directly by Bhabinkamtibmas Bringinbendo Village and we alsoimplement public security and order for the community Bringinbendo Village. Human health is very important and is the main asset in daily life. In this regard, optimization must be achieved with safety, sustainability and consistency of benefits to realize sustainability. To achieve this optimization, maintenance actions are required at the normal balance point. This research aims to minimize the occurrence of traffic accidents and violence in the environment. which can damage body health. Then we also provided several village facilities, namely the installation of safety mirrors to ensure traffic safety in the area and the provision of several rubbish bins to emphasize environmental cleanliness to avoid diseases that come from dirty environments. We also provide socialization on bullying to children in order to improve the quality of human resources from an early age in Sumur Welut Village. We also hold firefighting education to improve safety and provide knowledge to village residents, especially mothers, so that they are always alert and able to handle incidents with first aid. Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) in Indonesian, is an effort to apply academic knowledge for students as agents of change in society. This research examines the CSP experience in managing a waste bank at Tambak Madu RW 09, Tambakrejo Village, Simokerto District. The primary goal is to enhance public environmental awareness while improving the operational efficiency of the waste bank. Methods employed include participatory surveys, educational workshops, primary data collection through observations, and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate a significant increase in community participation in waste sorting, environmental education, and the management of waste volume through the waste bank. The impact of this activity encompasses heightened environmental awareness among the community, the establishment of new waste management behaviors, and the strengthening of collaboration between higher education institutions and the community for environmental preservation efforts. This research contributes to understanding the vital role of waste banks in sustaining the environment and fostering active community involvement in waste management.

Ludruk art is known for its unique performances which combine elements of comedy, music, dance and dialogue. In recent years, Ludruk art has experienced significant challenges in maintaining its sustainability. Ludruk, like other traditional performing arts, is an integral part of Indonesia's cultural assets. However, changing times and shifts in society's interests present various challenges to the continuity of this art. Therefore, with this optimization program it is hoped that it can help village residents increase awareness of ludruk culture, especially among young people. Because by introducing ludruk to children, ludruk as a cultural asset can be preserved. Apart from that, Pagesangan Village can become a cultural village that introduces ludruk to the wider community. The lack of public awareness in utilizing plastic waste and the increase in community income in the Karangpilang village is an important issue in the Community Service Program organized by the KKN 033 group of the Bhayangkara University Surabaya. Based on problem analysis, the program's focus is on the following: 1) Making Ecobricks, 2) Making Street Name Frameworks, 3) Socializing the Utilization of Plastic Waste, 4) Socializing Community Security. Data collection techniques in this community service program include observation and socialization. The impact of this community service program shows that increasing public awareness of plastic waste utilization and improving the economy in the Karangpilang village will not be optimal without support from the surrounding community and the local government. The lack of support from the local government is one of the factors contributing to the low public awareness of plastic waste utilization and economic improvement. The survey results regarding public perception of plastic waste utilization in the form of a Waste Bank in the Karangpilang village show a positive response, as seen from the unity and cooperation of residents in assisting Group 033 in making crafts from plastic waste and creating street name frameworks, which were completed in two days.

The socialization topics presented in the work program in Cepokolimo Village include E-Commerce socialization and the use of village finances for independent village development. Generator foundations are required with the right dimensions so that the generator can function well, last long and not have a negative impact on the surrounding buildings. The aim of this study is to determine the dimensions of the shallow foundation for the generator at RSI Ahmad Yani Surabaya in accordance with applicable regulations. In this study, static and dynamic calculations were carried out. Static calculations to calculate settlement and consolidation, as well as soil bearing capacity using the Schmertmann method. Dynamic analysis to calculate frequency and amplitude values, as well as single and combined vibration attenuation in vertical, horizontal and longitudinal movement directions; as well as the effects of rocking, yawing and pitching using the Lumped Parameter method. Analysis and design have resulted in dimensions of 2.6 * 5.0 * 0.4 m for a shallow foundation system and the allowable bearing capacity (qall) shows = 4.19 kg/cm2 based on static conditions and 6.15 kg/cm2 based on dynamic conditions . Overall, the parameters resulting from the analysis and design have met the provisions and regulations.

Thematic KKN (Community Service Program) at Bhayangkara University of Surabaya in the Paras neighborhood, Prigen subdistrict, Pasuruan is a form of community service activity. The Community Service Program Lecture was held from 27th November to 6th December 2023. Activities consist of core activities, village activities and additional activities. This article discusses village activities and additional activities of Community Service Program students. KKN activities aim to provide experience and as a learning process for students to explore village potentials that can be developed by the community. The method for implementing KKN at the location consists of outreach activities and implementation activities. The research outcome show that through KKN, motivating students' enthusiasm for learning has increased through the P5 learning method (Pancasila Learning Profile Strengthening Project). The public gains awareness of the dangers of drug usage and knowledge of laws related to protecting rights and freedoms, preventing crime, and resolving disputes

Analog television (TV) broadcasts was be replaced with digital TV broadcasts in Indonesia since November 2, 2022. The digital TV adopts Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial Generation (DVB-T2) technology which operates on the UHF frequency of 470-806 MHz. One of the important equipment for capturing digital TV broadcasts is an antenna. The type of the antenna chosen is a Bowtie antenna because of its wide bandwidth and simple shape. In this paper, the design and implementation of a bowtie antenna from use d vehicle registration plates is carried out to receive digital TV broadcasts. Furthermore, the Bowtie antenna is tested based on the number of digital TV stations broadcasts received, signal strength and signal quality in the Sidoarjo area. The test results show that digital TV broadcasts which can be captured in the Sidoarjo area are 32 digital TV broadcasts operating at a frequency of 538-658 MHz. While the received signal strength is 92-99% and signal quality is 98%. This value illustrates that the bowtie antenna can works well.
